Nora decorates the entire exterior of the cap with classic enamel. In a complex process, she applies 15 to 20 ultra-thin layers of powdered glass, each layer being fired individually. This creates a deeply luminous, vibrant surface with visible depth and subtle color gradations. It took three years of collaborative development to refine this technique to the point where the enamel completely encircles the cap – without chipping, without stress cracks, and with an absolutely secure bond to the metal.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eInside the barrel is another, smaller inlay, also covered with enamel by Nora Kovats, which echoes the color scheme of the cap.
